Your Uppsala View: A photo competition at the Castle Museum
Ahead of the exhibition “Views of Uppsala”, we invited residents of Uppsala to submit photographs capturing a personal view of the city – an everyday moment, a favorite place, an unexpected perspective, or whatever makes Uppsala uniquely yours.The finalists have their photographs displayed at Uppsala Castle as part of the exhibition.

Uppsala’s iconic skyline, with the castle, cathedral, and university buildings, has become a powerful symbol of the city. In the upcoming exhibition “Views of Uppsala”, we will have the opportunity to experience some of Gusten Widerbäck’s most beloved works alongside other artists’ interpretations of Uppsala.
As part of the exhibition, a photography competition was held, inviting residents of Uppsala to submit their own views of the city. From more than 200 entries, five finalists have now been selected, whose photographs will be included in the “Views of Uppsala” exhibition.
