Tuesday-Wednesday: 12.00-17.00

Thursday: 12.00-20.00

Friday-Sunday: 11.00-17.00

Free admission

Admission to the museum is free, but for certain special exhibitions a ticket is needed. Tickets are usually 80 SEK for anyone above the age of 26.

Parking

  • Parking is available on the courtyard. Payment is made via an app or text message.
  • Disabled parking is available directly in front of the entrance to the art museum. The same permit applies to all parking spots on the courtyard.
  • Bicycle racks are available close to the art museum entrance and on the south side of the castle.
  • Taxis can drive all the way up to the entrance.

Accessibility

We want you to feel welcome and comfortable for the duration of your visit.

  • The museum is on the bottom floor, with only a few steps up by the entrance.
  • There is also a ramp for strollers and wheelchair users.
  • The museum has accessible bathrooms and a changing table.
  • Visually impaired: Guide dogs are welcome.

If you have specific needs, feel free to let us know in advance, and we will help you make your visit as pleasant and comfortable as we can.

Bags and luggage

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all visitors to the Castle Museum, we ask you to observe the following rules regarding bags and luggage:

  • Large bags and bags on wheels are not permitted in the museum.
  • Purses and smaller backpacks carried in the hand, on the back, or on the stomach are permitted.
  • We ask that you always keep an eye on your belongings and not leave your bag unattended.
  • An unattended cloakroom as well as lockers are provided for storage.
